Our History and Structure

Ras al Khaimah Gas Commission was established by Emiri Decree number 14/84 dated 24 August 1984 issued by the Ruler of Ras al Khaimah and its dependencies. In 2007 the Commission became a limited liability company, RAK Gas.

RAK Gas’s head office is in the city of Ras al Khaimah, Emirate of Ras al Khaimah.

Management Team

RAK Gas’s senior management team bring together decades of experience and expertise in exploration and operations gained from time spent with the Super Majors. Leveraging this experience, the management team have assembled a multicultural, diverse team of professionals to ensure the company meet its operational, corporate and societal goals.

Under the leadership of CEO, Chris Wood, the company continues to implement many strategic goals and processes directing investment towards execution of the company’s primary goals.

Ownership

RAK Gas is owned by the Government of Ras al Khaimah.
