Oil Storage & Export
RAK Gas has two condensate storage tanks with a capacity of 250,000 barrels each.
Located adjacent to its processing plan, the tanks store gas condensate products for RAK Gas and third parties before loading on to tankers offshore via a Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) system.
The SBM can accept tankers of up to 280,000 dead-weight tonnages in 30 meter water depth and has a throughput capacity of 10,000 barrels per hour. It has a throughput capacity of 10,000 barrels per hour.
RAK Gas owns five 50 ton LPG storage tanks, serving the Bukha Train and Atlantis Trains, and a fleet of LPG trucks and trailers used to deliver LPG to customers in RAK and the other Emirates.
As part of its gas processing, RAK Gas separates and stores Pentane Plus in a 50-ton storage tank alongside its LPG tanks. The Pentane Plus is then exported for international consumption.
